We understand the financial hardships involved in pursuing higher education, and we wish to mitigate this.
It is our desire and intention to provide medical care to uninsured , fulltime (defined as 12 or more
semester hours) college students who are actively enrolled in college, at 50% off our usual and
customary fees.* We will expect payment in full at each office visit. Please mention your college student
status when making an appointment and checking in. You will need to provide evidence of current
enrollment, as explained below, to receive this discounted rate.

these to verify your active enrollment. You may pick up a copy of your schedule from the Registrar's
Office at PCC prior to coming in. Their phone number is 493-7232.
ECU Students
Please provide your current class schedule and your ID card (One Card) to verify your enrollment in
order to receive the discounted rate. You may pick up a copy of your schedule at Whichard Room 103.
Please remember, you must be actively enrolled and taking 12 or more hours to qualify for this discount.

*The discounted rate is 50% off our usual and customary fees for new and established office visits.
*If you have an active and verifiable health insurance plan, we will charge and bill under that plan instead of using the
discounted rate.
*If you receive any blood tests (such as cbc, cholesterol, or thyroid), in-office lab tests (such as rapid strep test or urinalysis
or pregnancy test), or procedures (such as freezing of warts, ekgs, or x-rays), you will receive a 50% discount off our usual
and customary fees, but those services will be in addition to the fee for the office visit. The discounted fee will cover the
provider history, physical exam, evaluation and recommended treatment. The discounted fee also does not cover the cost
of prescribed medications, though we are very sensitive to costs of medications, and we can keep costs to a minimum with
samples and frequently (but not always) with $4 prescriptions from WalMart, Sam's Club, Target, or KMart pharmacies.
*If you are referred to another office, we have absolutely no control over other offices' or laboratories' or xray centers' fees.
